The game takes place in New York in two temporary layers. In 1978, the protagonist of the game, a young racer, by the will of fate, became involved in the criminal cases of one of the local gangs. Because of the treacherous betrayal, he goes to prison, where he has to spend 28 years of his life. After serving the conclusion, he returns to the roads of New York to take revenge. The city, which he sees now from the window of his car, has become quite different. The game features a dozen types of free missions, depending on the selected era. Street and ring races, work as a taxi driver and other entertainment are mixed with hijacking cars to order, distilling cars along a certain route and even hunting for the heads of other drivers.
