COMMANDERS
As you progress through the campaigns, various commanders are gradually unlocked, belonging to the class of generals, pilots or captains. They can be assigned to one or another type of combat units to give them unique bonuses to all characteristics. The main task of the player is to correctly use tactics and different types of combat units, however, with proper skill, commanders can be a decisive factor in an offensive operation or buy you time on defense and turn the tide in your favor.
SUPPLY SYSTEM
In Order of Battle: World War II, a unique supply system plays an important role. It directly affects the combat capability of troops. If you land on an enemy island without support ships, your invasion force is unlikely to be able to establish a reliable foothold, and capturing enemy supply lines, isolating their units and conducting encirclement maneuvers will be excellent strategies for victory.
BLitzkrieg CAMPAIGN INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE
In the Blitzkrieg campaign, you command the Wehrmacht and the Luftwaffe. The action begins with the capture of Poland, then tells about the defeat of the French-British alliance on the western front, the attack on the Soviet Union, and finally the march on Moscow in 1941.
On September 1, 1939, under the pretext of returning the city of Danzig, German armed forces invaded Poland. France and Great Britain, observing the terms of their diplomatic agreements and striving to maintain the balance of power in Europe, soon declared war on Germany. This chain of events marked the beginning of the greatest war in history - the Second World War.
In the early years of the conflict, Germany demonstrated the successful use of modern aircraft and tanks in its traditional tactics of maneuver warfare, based on deep penetration of armored forces supported by aggressive air strikes. This tactic proved to be highly effective in encircling and then destroying enemy forces. The new way of warfare, which brought "lightning wins", was called blitzkrieg.
More than 200 types of combat units participate in this campaign, including German, French, British and Soviet (both real and fictional). In addition, several minor nations have been added to the game. German combat units include Panzer III and IV series tanks, Bf109 and Fw190 fighters and powerful 88mm anti-aircraft guns. The allied armament includes heavily armored Matilda and Char B1 tanks, Spitfire and Hurricane fighters, and unique armored trains.
